I'm Giancarlo, a photographer based in Sagres and Lagos, in the western Algarve. I specialise in couples, proposals, and family sessions — working with international clients who want images that feel real, not staged. My approach is simple: I work with the light, the location, and the people in front of me: no forced poses, no generic setups. The Algarve has some of the most extraordinary coastline in Europe — golden cliffs, Atlantic light, empty beaches at golden hour — and my job is to put you in the middle of it and let things unfold naturally. I've photographed proposals at Ponta da Piedade, family sessions at Martinhal, and couples chasing sunset at Cabo de São Vicente. Every shoot is different.
